Strachn was swiping into the number 4 train station on River Avenue and 167th street in the Bronx, when he was recognized by NYPD Transit Officer Gomez, who had previously arrested plaintiff and was accompanied by his superior, Lieutenant Edwards. Plaintiff walked by defendant Gomez and told him that he would see him at the next court date, referring to plaintiff's prior arrest.
