Description: Two plain clothed defendant detectives (Hoeflinger and Dobrossy) approached the plaintiff who was walking home. Plaintiff was verbally assaulted and officers unlawfully searched plaintiff's pockets. Plaintiff claims that the defendant officers 'flaked' him by inserting an empty bag of cocaine in his pocket and falsely arrested him stating he had a criminal possession of a controlled substance. Plaintiff was taken back to the 73rd precinct and was subject to an unlawful strip search. Plaintiff was released to appear in court with a DAT, and his case was dismissed.

Description: On May 30, 2012, Plaintiff was on the sidewalk on Broadway, between Marion Street and Stone Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. Defendants Martin and Walsh stopped Plaintiff and asked what was in his pocket. The Defendants then proceeded to search the Plaintiff and removed everything from his pockets. One of the Defendants found half of an Oxycodone pill and Plaintiff informed them that it was a medication for which he had a prescription.
