Description: On June 6, 2015, plaintiff D.H., an African-American woman who is trangender was walking in her neighborhood and trying to hail a cab home. She was stopped unlawfully, harassed, arrested , and detained as part of a "sweep" of transgender women in the area. She was charged with loitering for the purpose of prostitution under Section 240.37. This is just one example listed in this class action.
