Description: On December 8, 2017, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Plaintiff was lawfully present near the intersection of 32nd Street and 7th Avenue in New York City when Plaintiff was approached by NYPD Police Officers Michael Relf, Sergeant Oscar Paredes, and other unidentified officers. Without probable cause, the officers stopped, searched, and arrested Plaintiff. During the arrest, Plaintiff was subjected to excessive force, including being handcuffed and physically seized. Plaintiff was detained for over 48 hours and subsequently maliciously prosecuted, despite not committing any crime. The charges against Plaintiff were eventually dismissed on March 19, 2018.

vicinity of 1562 E New York Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11212. Plaintiff was arrested in regards to an open I-card related to a complaint that was made by plaintiff's Aunt in regards to a dispute they had previously had on or about January 2, 2015. Plaintiff was handcuffed and searched at the scene.
