Description: On or about August 21 2020 was stopped by officers while driving a rental car. Police charged Plaintiff with operating an unregistered vehicle, improper display of number plates operating a vehicle with expired plates, and criminal possession of a forged instrument. Plaintiff tried to explain that the car was a rental and having the police speaker with the rental company. NYPD nonetheless arrested Plaintiff without probable cause and with excessive force. Criminal proceedings eventually terminated in Plaintiff's favor and all charges were dismissed.
