Description: On May 1, 2016, Plaintiff was verbally abused and beaten while he was lawfully present at or near West 175th Street and Audubon Avenue, visually observing and videotaping an arrest being made by Defendants herein of Arhenis Batista. Plaintiff was not guilty of any criminal acts. Defendants Sgt. Fredy Cruz, Police Officer Eddy Gutierrez, Police Officer Emmanuel Valerie immediately chased Plaintiff for three blocks and chased him to the East River and repeatedly smashed his face and head into the pavement.
