Description: On August 17, 2021, plaintiff was leaving a restaurant and got a ride from an acquaintance, sitting in the front passenger seat of the vehicle with her children in the backseat. The vehicle was pulled over by Defendant Officers, including WILLIAM WOODLEY, and other unknown officers. Defendants ordered Plaintiff to exit the vehicle, handcuffed her and took her and her child to the 77th Precinct. Defendants provided false information that Plaintiff possessed an illegal firearm and maliciously prosecuted her. Plaintiff spent 30 hours in police custody before seeing a Judge and being released on her recognizance.
