Complaint
Description: On February 21, 2021, Plaintiff Messiah Nantwi was approached by an unmarked vehicle containing Defendants Police Officer Erick Reyes, Police Officer Malik Underwood, Sergeant Darren Earl. The individual Defendants decided to pursue plaintiff by foot and vehicle. Plaintiff was then tackled to the ground by one of the defendant officers. During this time-period all three defendant officers drew their weapons and began firing at plaintiff while he was on the ground laying in a fetal position with his back positioned towards the officers.
