Complaint
Description: On September 3, 2022, the plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of Stanhope Street and Knickerbocker Avenue in Kings County, New York, when the defendant officers unlawfully approached, questioned, searched, and arrested him without probable cause or legal justification, using excessive force. The defendant officers assaulted and battered the plaintiff, applying unreasonably tight metal handcuffs. Following the arrest, the plaintiff was transported to the 83rd Precinct against his will. He was subsequently arraigned in Kings County Criminal Court and charged with baseless crimes.
