Description: On June 16, 2019, the Plaintiff was on his way home when he stopped at a store on 111th Street. As he walked out, he accidentally brushed shoulders with a person who was part of a group. They exchanged words and the Plaintiff walked away home but the group followed him yelling at him and attacked him. The Plaintiff managed to run away and saw officers Matthew Grieve, Michael Montalvo, and Kelly Waugh. Instead of listening to and helping him, defendants Grieve and Montalvo put him into a chokehold, punched him in the ribs, slammed him on the ground, handcuffed him and threw him into the back of the police car.
