Description: On November 17, 2021, Plaintiff, a person with a physical disability and a person of color, was inside his residence, in the Bronx, when a person inside the apartment called 911 to report she had been attacked by her partner, an individual that was not the Plaintiff. Defendant Officers entered the premises and violently assaulted and detained Plaintiff without any justification. Plaintiff was pushed, shoved, and violently thrown to the floor and was physically restrained. Defendant Officers made false accusations against Plaintiff and falsely arrested him.

Description: On January 17, 2022 Plaintiff was in the vicinity of Woodycrest Avenue and West 165th Street in the Bronx when Defendant Officers approached Plaintiff for no reason and stopped, searched, and detained him in an aggressive and excessive manner. Plaintiff was falsely arrested, remained incarcerated for over 24 hours, and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were dismissed.
