Conclusion Meanings:

Complaint
Description: On July 22, 2020, NYPD Officers raided City Hall Park. Since June 2020, plaintiffs McGill and Velez had, along with others, assembled in the park to protest the NYPD budget in the wake of the murder of George Floyd. Plaintiffs and others kept several personal belongings in tents in the park, which they renamed "Abolition Park." The officers entered at around 3:00 A.M., providing no advance notice or warning to the Park's occupants. They forced all occupants to leave the park, and then they seized and destroyed all personal property. McGill lost items with family significance, and Velez lost several hundred dollars in electronic devices.
