Description: On January 13, 2017, Plaintiff was at a supermarket to purchase various items. While on line and prior to arrival at the cashier to pay for the items Plaintiff wished to purchase, Plaintiff was accused of shoplifting by supermarket employees. Plaintiff was taken into custody by supermarket personnel and when Plaintiff was taken into custody by supermarket personnel, Plaintiff was physically restrained and unable to leave the premises. There was supermarket video showing Plaintiff not shoplifting or leave the store without paying for the items she wished to purchase. Rochdale Meat & Produce, LLC Key Food and Mandell Food Stores, Inc and their employees viewed the video, which revealed that Plaintiff did not shop...
