Description: On July 24, 2019, after traveling to the Bronx on his day off, Phillip Jacobs encountered a group of police officers on the street of his old neighborhood. Jacobs learned from a friend that there had been a shooting and the officers were gathered to search for the perpetrator. While speaking to the officers, Jacobs' aunt was insulted by one of the officers. Jacobs recognized this and attempted to get the officers to address his aunt with respect.
