Description: On or about July 13, 2019, Plaintiffs were arrested by officers Ramon J. Garcia, Thomas A. Accomando, Freddy A. Pichardo, Elvin A. Pichardo, and 5 unnamed officers. Plaintiffs were brothers who were, prior to the arrest, in the area to meet with some of their friends. Officers in street clothes first ran up to one plaintiff and forcibly grabbed him from the back. Then, the officers slammed that plaintiff's head on a nearby trash can. When the other plaintiff inquired as to what was going on, officers forcibly grabbed the other plaintiff from the back and tightly handcuffed him. Description: On November 9, 2021, Djibril Sow and Mohammed Kamara (Plaintiffs) were on their way to KAMARA’s home, having visited a local grocery store when they were illegally stopped, handcuffed and arrested by defendants. Plaintiff were then taken to 46th Precinct. While in there, each of the Plaintiffs were subjected to a search and that nothing of an illegal or unlawful nature was recovered. They were then transported to Central Booking where they were forced to remain inside of a holding cell with numerous other people. After spending numerous hours in Central Booking, Plaintiffs were each released after the Office of the Bronx County District Attorney declined to prosecute each of the Plaintiffs arrests.

Description: On May 17, 2019, Plaintiff Mesa was heading home after picking up a lunch sandwich at a grocery store when he was stopped, handcuffed, and arrested by Police Officers Fausto Ramirez, Thomas Accomando, and another unnamed officer. The officers claimed to arrest Plaintiff for selling marijuana, which he had never sold nor possessed. He was transported to the precinct where he was subjected to a strip search. He was arraigned and charged with criminal sale of marijuana in the Fourth Degree. The Bronx District Attorney dismissed his case on November 15, 2019.
