Description: On October 18, 2018 at approximately 7:00 PM, Mirtha Mayol was inside of an apartment at 373 96th Street, Apt B4, Brooklyn, New York when police officers, including Sergeant Yuriy Akopov, NYPD UC #157, Konstant Brandman, and John Does #1-10, handcuffed and arrested her without probably cause. Akopov made insulting remarks about her appearance. The police officers transported her to the 68th Precinct where she was photographed, fingerprinted, and detained in a holding cell.
