Description: On February 13, 2020, Plaintiff Olivia Donovan was near Saks' Fifth Avenue location when defendant officers falsely arrested and detained plaintiff, accusing her of grand larceny. They engaged excessively tightened handcuffs. At the precinct, plaintiff was subjected to a search of the intimate parts of their body and unlawfully detained for 15 hours before being released. The officers prepared false sworn affidavits and police reports to support the charges.

Description: On December 15, 2019 Plaintiff was lawfully present inside St. Patrick's Cathedral when she was approached by POs Liosmely Holguin and John Does, who grabbed, pushed, slammed to the ground, and forcefully handcuffed Plaintiff. Plaintiff was arrested and taken to the Precinct then Central Booking, where she was arraigned on a malicious prosecution and released on December 16, 2019. Plaintiff suffered serious injuries about her person, distress, mental shock, and psychological trauma, and the malicious prosecution caused further shame, indignity, and financial suffering.
