Description: Plaintiff and her partner began living at 130-66 228th St after being invited to do so by defendants who resided there. Plaintiff took possession of the property, made significant renovations, and was to purchase the residence, but defendants reneged on their agreement and forced plaintiff from the property through harassment and intimidation. On May 31, 2014, plaintiff and her partner were packing their luggage to visit Maryland. One of the defendants came to the property and started an argument with plaintiff. Plaintiff had dropped her phone during the argument and picked it up before heading back inside the residence. Defendant called 911 and claimed that plaintiff had stolen her phone.
