Description: On September 12, 2013, plaintiff was driving home in Brooklyn. An unmarked police car pulled up behind him after he pulled over to see a friend. Officers got out and demanded his license and registration. After complying, officers demanded he get out of the car. When the plaintiff asked why, the officers reached into the car, opened the door, and pulled the plaintiff out. Without explanation or cause, the plaintiff was searched and handcuffed. Plaintiff was brought into custody and was forced to spend 20 hours in custody.

Description: On January 1, 2014, at approximately 2:00 a.m., plaintiff was at a house party in Brooklyn, New York. He was standing in the back yard of the residence, when the defendant officers Bryan Cullen, Ajuba Granville, and John Doe 1-2 asked plaintiff to come towards them. He complied and walked to the officers, who then unlawfully handcuffed and arrested plaintiff without probable cause. Plaintiff was not committing any crimes and did not resist arrest.
