Description: On August 27, 2013, at approximately 11:00pm, Defendant NYPD Officers SHAUN HEALY and JONATHAN BARRUCHERI entered the apartment of Plaintiff Darrell Francis located within the Redfern Houses at 14-20 Redfern Avenue, Apartment 1F in Rockaway, Queens and proceeded to strike, kick, and punch Plaintiff about his body and face. The complaint alleges that the assault was due in part to racial animus (Lines 38-39). The complaint does not state the circumstances that led to this assault or state whether Plaintiff was arrested.

Description: On or about March 30, 2013, Defendants Police Officer Baruccheri and Seargant Honstetter assaulted Plaintiff with guns drawn and other objects used to physically seize and strike and restrain Plaintiff. They arrested Plaintiff, bringing him to the NYPD 101st Precinct to be charged with crimes he did not commit and held in custody for over 24 hours. Later, on April 3, 2013, Plaintiff went to retrieve his belongings from the Precinct and Defendants Police Officer Solis and Seargant Cordiner assaulted and arrested him in the same manner, and again charged him with various crimes he did not commit. Plaintiff suffered severe and permanent physical and psychological injuries.
