Description: Plaintiff was driving and trying to merge onto the Van Wyck Expressway when a police vehicle nearly collided with him going against traffic. He followed the police vehicle in order to tell the Police Officer that his driving could have caused an accident. The Defendant Officer refused to provide the Plaintiff with his shield number or name. A week later Plaintiff received a traffic ticket for spending three seconds at the same intersection where he was the previous week. He testified about the unfair ticket, but the judge ruled against the plaintiff. The following week, Plaintiff received a traffic ticket for running a red light from Defendant Officer, even if he did not do so.
