Description: On November 26, 2012, Plaintiff was approached by several NYPD Officers including Officers Roger Sorto and Juan Inoa. The officers grabbed her phone, placed her in handcuffs, and unlawfully searched and groped her. Plaintiff asked the officers to stop groping her but they refused. The Officers accused Plaintiff of smoking marijuana and unlawfully arrested her. At the precinct Officer Sorto and other Officers falsely informed employees of the DA's office that they observed plaintiff tamper with physical evidence. A female NYPD Officer strip-searched Plaintiff and recovered no contraband. After 24 hours in custody, Plaintiff was released.
