Description: On July 13, 2018, plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of Adee Avenue and White Plains Road, Bronx, when defendant police officers, without any probable cause or legal justification, approached plaintiff for no reason other than his race and summarily stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained him in an excessive manner. Plaintiff was handcuffed and arrested. While in custody, plaintiff was strip-searched. During arraignment, plaintiff was falsely prosecuted with committing a crime, but all charges against plaintiff were eventually dismissed in his favor. As a result of defendants' actions, plaintiff sustained severe physical injuries and emotional trauma.

Description: On August 28, 2019, plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of 3562 Carlisle Place, Bronx, when defendant police officers, without any probable cause or legal justification, suddenly accosted plaintiff and placed him under arrest in an excessive manner. Defendants grabbed plaintiff from behind and slammed him to the ground, jumping on and handcuffing him. In the process, one officer forcibly stomped on plaintiff's left ankle, causing severe injuries. As a result of the unprovoked assault, plaintiff sustained injuries including but limited to a left ankle fracture, and suffered emotional distress.

Description: On October 29, 2019 at approximately 9:00 AM, plaintiff's 14-year old son, M.J., and another teenager encountered defendant police officers Duffany and Alexander inside the lobby or an apartment building at 3230 Cruger Avenue in the Bronx. Eventually, the police officers caught up with the boys and ordered them to put their hands up and stand against a wall (it is unclear if this occurred inside or outside the building); the boys complied. The police officers questioned the boys and told them to sit on the floor. In response, M.J. and the other boy cursed at the police officers, and defendant Duffany responded by sweeping M.J. off of his feet with a kick....
