Description: On November 3, 2019, plaintiff was lawfully present in the vicinity of Junius Street and Newport Street in Brooklyn, New York, sitting in his girlfriend's car with his girlfriend. Defendant NYPD Officers approached the car and asked the plaintiff for his license and registration and after the plaintiff handed over the documents, the defendants ripped the plaintiff out of the car through the open window. They threw him to the floor, pepper sprayed him, and repeatedly kicked and punched him. At no time did plaintiff commit a crime or violate the law in anyway. At no point did defendants recover any drugs, weapons, or other illegal contraband.
