Description: On May 10, 2021, Plaintiff was present in the vicinity of 24 Doscher Street 16. Plaintiff was lawfully inside the apartment she sublets with her boyfriend at Doscher Street when her son informed her that there were police officers in the home. Plaintiff came downstairs and was immediately greeted by the sight of more than five uniformed officers at the foot of the stairs. Once Plaintiff’s husband came downstairs, defendant officers lunged towards Plaintiff and her husband to try to arrest them. Plaintiff asked why she was being arrested, and instead of receiving an answer, she was tasered. Plaintiff never received a warning or any other notice that she would be tasered.
