Description: On June 3, 2014, Defendants Police Officers Jimmy Perez, Jordan Castro, Zain Woods, and Daniel Staple handcuffed, falsely arrested, falsely charged, unlawfully detained, and maliciously prosecuted Plaintiff. As a result, Plaintiff was caused to sustain serious, harmful and permanent injuries. Plaintiff continues to be sick, sore, and disabled. All of the Defendants verbally, physically, intentionally, maliciously, and deliberately abused the Plaintiff, and did commit an assault and battery upon Plaintiff.

Complaint
Description: On July 1, 2013 Plaintiff was lawfully on the sidewalk when PO Jordan Castro unlawfully apprehended, detained, assaulted, and battered Plaintiff without legal justification. PO Castro forced Plaintiff onto the sidewalk for a protracted period of time and refused Plaintiff's requests for his face to be removed from being pressed into the sidewalk. PO Castro falsely accused Plaintiff of crimes and unlawfully arrested Plaintiff. Plaintiff suffered extreme and protracted pain to his head, face, neck, eyes, nose, back, and limbs as a result of PO Castro's use of excessive force. Plaintiff also suffered mental and economic harm.
