Description: On December 3, 2015, plaintiff was headed home to 320 Lexington Ave, Brooklyn, NY inside a black car service at 11:00 pm, having after consumed alcohol at a friend’s home, when the car service stopped. Plaintiff observed flashlights and numerous plain clothes officers on both sides of the vehicle. Plaintiff observed their hands on their guns holsters and Plaintiff asked the officers, “what did I do?” Officers ordered Plaintiff out of the vehicle. Officers opened the passenger door and pulled plaintiff out of the vehicle, after having instructed the driver to unlock the door. Description: On September 3, 2018, the Plaintiff was outside a building in Brooklyn when Defendant NYPD Officer Reginald Smith, Randy Sanchez, Michael Desposito, and unknown officers began to shout and yell at the Plaintiff from an unmarked vehicle. The Defendants chased the Plaintiff and threw, shoved, and slammed him onto the entryway of a building. They punched the Plaintiff in his face, head, neck, and chest. The Defendants slammed the Plaintiff onto the ground and handcuffed him. After handcuffing the Plaintiff, the Defendants continued to beat the Plaintiff, including by punching, kicking, and holding him face down on the sidewalk with the weight of one of the officer's foot/boot on his back. Description: On February 1, 2017, in the vicinity of Fulton Street and Saratoga Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, defendant NYPD officers approached the plaintiff without a warrant or probable cause and unlawfully arrested him. The defendants grabbed him, slammed him against a fence, and then applied excessively tight handcuffs on the plaintiff's wrists. The defendants then supplied the district attorney's office with false information that they knew was false. Subsequently, all charges against the plaintiff were dropped but the officers continued to harass the plaintiff in two more occasions that year.

Description: On August 26, 2015, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Dontayveus Thomas was a passenger in a taxicab near Tompkins Avenue and Van Buren Street in Brooklyn when NYPD Officers Frank Ingenito and Reginald Smith stopped the vehicle without cause. Mr. Thomas exited the cab and was pursued on foot by Officer Ingenito and in a vehicle by Officer Smith.
