Description: On April 23, 2016, plaintiff was walking near his home drinking a redbull with a cup of ice when plainclothes officers told plaintiff to stop and required he provide identification. After producing his id, officers Jones, Soler and Perez surrounded him and took his cup. They then arrested him for an open container of alcohol. Plaintiff suffered injuries to his right wrist, shoulder and hand as well as his body. The criminal case was dismissed on July 8, 2016.

Description: On March 12, 2014 at approximately 8:00 PM, Plaintif was walking through a NYCHA complex when he was approached by Officers Stephan Kroski, James Feola, Frankie Soler and other unknown officers. Without cause, the officers threw Plaintiff to the ground, stepped on, kicked, punched, stomped, brutalized and beat up Plaintiff, prior to and while being handcuffed and forcibly detained. The officers took Plaintiff to the hospital by ambulance. Plaintiff was charged with, among other things, possession of a controlled substance. All charges were later dismissed.

Description: On March 7, 2014, at approximately 8:00 PM, in the vicinity of 118th Street and 2nd Avenue, POs Gierloff, Soler and John Does #1-4 approached Plaintiff and his cousins with their guns drawn and claimed that Plaintiff was involved in a robbery. They provided a vague description, to which Plaintiff did not fit. One PO grabbed Plaintiff's leg and neck and pinned him against a fence before conducting a search, where they found Plaintiff's work knife, consisting of a blade approximately two and a half inches. The POs charged Plaintiff with possession of a weapon, and he was not charged with robbery.
