Description: On September 27, 2023, Plaintiff RAYMOND MOORE was illegally stopped, searched, detained and subjected to excessive force by defendants Police Officer James Geberth, Police Officer Luis Candelaria, and John and Jane Does. Plaintiff was arrested by defendants without cause or justification. Plaintiff RAYMOND MOORE remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges were dropped in Plaintiff's favor. Plaintiff RAYMOND MOORE sustained physical and emotional pain and injuries as a result of this incident.

Description: On May 1, 2022, plaintiff Vanessa Decatus was lawfully in the vicinity of E. 175th Street and Third Avenue (Bronx) when defendants falsely arrested, unlawfully imprisoned, and illegally searched and seized her. Defendant officers did not possess probable cause or other justification for the arrest/seizer of plaintiff. They tackled her to the ground and placed knees on her person. Afterwards, they made false statements and allegations to the DA's office. Plaintiff was transported to the precinct, questioned, and illegally searched, including being stripped searched twice with a visual cavity inspection. All charges were later unconditionally dismissed.
