Description: On October 23, 2019, when NYPD officers, including but not limited to Officer Michael Buliga and Officer Whitney Martin, arrived at a premise in response to a 911 call about a person acting erratically, Officers Buliga and Martin intentionally shot the plaintiff without taking reasonable steps to adequately assess the situation and without justification. As a result, the plaintiff suffered serious injuries, and the defendant officers did not provide prompt and adequate medical care, causing the plaintiff's death.
