Description: Store security at Bloomingdale's tackled 75-year-old Plaintiff outside of the store and accused him of stealing a shirt for which he had a receipt. After holding Plaintiff at the store for an hour, Bloomingdale's Store Detective Ginette Ruiz took him to the precinct and urged Officer Jose Rodriguez to begin a criminal case against him. Rodriguez stated that he would process Plaintiff for assaulting store security, a false claim, and searched his person to find miniature jeweler's tools for restoring vintage regalia.
