Description: On September 17, 2022, Plaintiff was walking down the street when three men exited an unmarked vehicle and called out "You Good!" Plaintiff was frightened, not knowing that these three men were police officers (Unnamed POs 1–3), so he ran away. The POs yelled to the Plaintiff, "If you run you look guilty" and shot Plaintiff with a taser gun, causing him to fall face-first onto the pavement, suffering a black eye, fracturing his teeth, bruising and cutting his face, and breaking his toe. The POs then arrested Plaintiff despite no reason to do so.

Description: On or about February 19, 2016 at approximately 8:00 p.m. inside an apartment POs Nicholas Kourounis and unnamed officers wrongfully touched, grabbed, handcuffed, and seized Plaintiff in an excessive manner about his person, causing Plaintiff physical pain and mental suffering, without legal justification. PO Nicholas Kourounis was the arresting officer. Plaintiff was taken to a police station and maliciously charged with crimes he did not commit. Plaintiff was wrongly held in custody for 7 days before he was released. The charges against Plaintiff were dismissed on October 18, 2016. In addition to physical injuries, Plaintiff suffered humiliation, mental anguish, indignity, and frustration.
