Description: On February 14, 2020, in the County of Richmond, City of New York, the plaintiff was returning home after picking up her children from school in her motor vehicle. The plaintiff stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Reno and Clawson and looked both ways before proceeding. As she was proceeding, out of the corner of her eye she noticed a NYPD patrol car improperly turning the corner speeding in the wrong direction on the one-way street. The defendant NYPD officers were using no sirens, horn, or loudspeaker, and only had on its flashing lights.
