Complaint
Description: On August 10, 2019, Plaintiff Roy Beckford attended a rally in Times Square and was attempting to get the badge number of police officer, Defendant Officer Ravi Moonan, who was violently arresting another attendee, when Defendant Officers Moonan and John Doe used unnecessary force to take Plaintiff to the ground. Plaintiff was charged with disorderly conduct and issued summons, which contained false factual allegations made by Officer Moonan. The charge was dismissed on October 21, 2019.
