On May 30, 2020, a large group of protestors entered the roadway of the FDR Drive near the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan. They marched north on the FDR Drive until reaching the vicinity of the intersection of South Street and Gouverneur Slip East at approximately 8:15 p.m., at which time they began exiting the highway by crossing a concrete wall dividing the FDR Drive and South Street. Officers from numerous commands had been following the marchers on the highway, and additional officers also arrived at the location. Sergeant Majer Saleh, of the 34th Precinct, allegedly pushed an individual off the concrete wall between the highway and South Street (Allegation A: Force, [redacted] Sgt.
