Description: On December 28, 2022, at approximately 7:00pm, Plaintiff DARWISH DARWISH was waiting in his vehicle with his 2-year-old daughter outside his wife's home in Scarsdale, NY. (Note: the "preliminary statement" on page 3 incorrectly states that Plaintiff was on 35th street in Manhattan.) While Plaintiff waited for his wife to pick up their daughter, an unmarked van pulled up and two unidentified Defendant NYPD officers in plainclothes exited the van, pulled Plaintiff from his vehicle, and unlawfully searched Plaintiff. The officers then searched Plaintiff's vehicle, causing $2200 in damages. No contraband of any kind was recovered.
