Complaint
Description: On April 17, 2021, outside of the plaintiff's apartment, defendant officers attacked, battered, and plaintiff. As a result of the assault, plaintiff broke his arm in multiple places. Defendant officers then proceeded to handcuff and detain plaintiff, falsely charging him with various criminal offenses without basis. Plaintiff spent over 24 hours in custody. After posting bail, plaintiff underwent surgery to repair a number of fractured bones in his arm. Defendant officers acted in concert to fabricate charges and manufacture stories to justify their assault.

Description: On October 23, 2018 Plaintiff was walking to get something to eat when he saw Defendant police officers Hernandez and Patti escorting a detained person from a subway entrance onto the street. Plaintiff felt that the police officers were being aggressive and excessive in the amount of force being used so he took out his cell phone and began to record the incident. Plaintiff eventually expressed concern to the police officers that they were using too much force. Plaintiff remained six to seven feet away from the arrest the entire time.
