Description: On January 31, 2018, the plaintiff was driving home with his girlfriend when he was pulled over by defendant NYPD officers in an unmarked police car. The defendants window did not work so he had to open the door to give his identification. While the defendant took the I.D. to his vehicle, the plaintiff closed his door back because it was a cold outside, and the defendant ran back to the plaintiff's car and removed him from the car. The plaintiff was then assaulted with excessive force by both officers present. The plaintiff injured his left wrist which led to nerve damage. After going back and forth to court for over a year maintaining his innocence, the case was dismissed in April 2018.
