Complaint
Description: On July 22, 2021, Plaintiff was shooting a music video. He was hired as a videographer for the music video. There was a rented vehicle being used in the music video that Plaintiff did not touch or have contact with. Defendant Officer Janueil Wright and Officers John Does approached Plaintiff and told him to get back in the car but Plaintiff informed him he was never in the car. A Defendant Officer then shouted "Gun Gun" and arrested Plaintiff along with eight others. Plaintiff was held at the 81st Precinct for 20 hours and then transferred to Central Booking, before he was released 24 hours later. All charges were dismissed and sealed on January 28, 2022.
