Complaint
Description: On July 4, 2023, while the plaintiff was with friends and family at 4th of July celebrations, the defendant PO unlawfully stopped, searched and arrested the plaintiff without probable cause. The plaintiff was forced inside a building and was struck with closed fists on the face, head, body and grabbed his arms bending them in opposite directions causing pain and discomfort. The plaintiff was then transported to 44th Precinct, where he was searched, fingerprinted, photographed and held in a cell. Despite asking for medical treatment, the plaintiff was pressured to forego medical treatment. The plaintiff was then transported to Central Booking.
