A security officer stated that the apprehended person was plaintiff; however, the thief was not plaintiff and, other than being Black, did not resemble him. In April of 2018, Apple caused to be detained an individual it believed to be plaintiff based on a learner’s permit that was likely a copy of plaintiff's. This imposter continued to commit thefts for the next two years.
