Description: On or about December 3, 2022, decedent was in the area of West 161th Street and Summit Avenue when Defendant Officers Michael Meneses, Travis Andreu, Gustavo Ochoa, Jack Lopez, and John Doe 1-10, came upon decedent. He was not partaking in any illegal activity that legally warranted detainment or arrest. The decedent attempted to flee the danger and Defendant Officers discharged at least 29 bullets at the decedent. He was brought to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries on December 4, 2023. This suit is brought by the administer of decedant's estate.

Description: On or about December 5, 2016, Plaintiff was falsely arrested and detained by NYPD officers, including PO Gustavo Ochoa, Sgt. Juan Burgos, and Detective Christopher Brady, all of the 44th Precinct in Bronx, New York. Plaintiff was accused of criminal possession of a weapon, despite no reasonable cause or probable cause for the arrest. After being detained and prosecuted for over two years, the charges were dismissed on October 16, 2018, in favor of Plaintiff. Throughout this period, the officers involved in the case allegedly acted with deliberate indifference and malicious intent, subjecting Plaintiff to false arrest, imprisonment, and malicious prosecution.
