Summary

On June 10, 2006, at approximately 2:10 PM, Detective William Bush, of the 84th Precinct Detective Squad, traveled to the vicinity of [redacted] within the confines of the 79th Precinct, to canvass the area for the suspect of a past robbery. Detective Bush identified [redacted] as the suspect and arrested him. A marked car occupied by Officers Keith Chatterton and Steven Nussenblatt, of the 79th Precinct, were transporting [redacted] to the 84th Precinct stationhouse when they got into a vehicle accident. A large, disorderly crowd of over 100 civilians gathered and became upset upon seeing that EMTs seemed to be treating the officers before the civilians. The crowd included the following civilians: [redacted]. A level one mobilization was called and numerous officers responded, including Sergeant Jerome Wardrope, Officer Jeffrey Struggs, Lieutenant Michael LiPetri, Sergeant George Abruzzo, Officer Jerome Boone, Officer Cathieann Browne, Officer Daniel Wingate, Officer Vlad Kogan, and Officer Willie Lomax, all of the 79th Precinct, Sergeant Ignazio Conca, Officer Jason Rodriguez, Officer Przemyslaw Szumilo, and Officer Scott McMaster, all of the 83rd Precinct, and Officer Donna Busacco and Officer David Proscia, both of the 88th Precinct.
