On June 14, 2014, at approximately 11:20 p.m., several officers, including PO Tatiana Cruz and PO Daniel Madden, from the 46th Precinct, responded to a call regarding an assault in progress at [redacted] in the Bronx. The assault in progress resulted from a family dispute involving [redacted]. An unidentified officer allegedly spoke discourteously to [redacted] (Allegation A). PO Cruz also allegedly spoke discourteously to [redacted] (Allegation B) and used offensive language towards [redacted] (Allegation E). PO Cruz struck [redacted] with an asp and they engaged in an altercation in which PO Cruz punched [redacted] and pulled her hair (Allegations C and D). Thereafter, PO Cruz approached [redacted] and allegedly kneed her in the stomach (Allegation D cont'd). [redacted] was subsequently arrested for [redacted].
