On October 20, 2015, at approximately 6:20 p.m., [redacted] was arrested by Detective Steven Gansrow and Detective Jelson Goyco, both assigned to Narcotics Borough Brooklyn North, for [redacted]. [redacted] had been standing with two male friends, but both males ran when they saw the officers, and were not pursued by the officers. While affecting the arrest of [redacted], Det. Goyco punched [redacted] on the right side of his face (Allegation A). Det. James McCullough punched [redacted] in his ribs (Allegation B). Officers allegedly kicked [redacted] in the back of the head and kneed [redacted] in the back (Allegation C). Sgt. Durkin allegedly threatened [redacted] with the use of a Taser (Allegation D).
