On June 21, 2016, at approximately 11:30pm, [redacted] was stopped while exiting his parked vehicle in front of [redacted] in Queens by PO Ryan Hoffmann, Sergeant Mark Ward, and PO Donmartin Atienza of the 105th Precinct (Allegation A). PO Hoffmann instructed [redacted] to get out of his vehicle and placed him in handcuffs. PO Hoffmann and Sgt. Ward allegedly searched [redacted]'s vehicle (Allegations B and C).
After searching the vehicle, PO Hoffmann issued [redacted] a summons for an unregistered vehicle. At the end of the incident, [redacted] asked for the officers' names and shield numbers. All three officers allegedly failed to provide their names and shield numbers to [redacted] as requested (Allegations D, E, and F).
