Summary

On April 11th, 2017, at approximately 5:00PM, Police Officers Laura Byelyakova, Melanie Weinstein, Daniel Martin, Adib Algahiti, Christian Cayenne, Sergeant Michael Fedele, and other officers from the 72nd Precinct entered [redacted] of [redacted] in Brooklyn (Allegations A-G: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Sgt. Fedele made the decision to forcibly remove [redacted] to the hospital (Allegation H: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]), and Sgt. Fedele, along with PO Cayenne, PO Martin, PO Algahiti, and other officers from the 72nd Precinct used physical force against [redacted] pursuant to his removal to the hospital (Allegations I-M: Force, [redacted]). During the struggle, an officer allegedly restricted [redacted] breathing (Allegation N: Force, [redacted]), allegedly repeatedly stomped on [redacted] head (Allegation O: Force, [redacted]), and allegedly struck [redacted] with an asp (Allegation P: Force, [redacted]). Officers allegedly kicked and kneed [redacted] on his sides (Allegation Q: Force, [redacted]), and after being brought up from the ground, an officer allegedly slammed [redacted] against the wall (Allegation R: Force, [redacted]).
