Summary

On October 22, 2017, at approximately 5:20 a.m., at [redacted] in Manhattan, Detective Fabio Nunez and Police Officer Josue Torres of the 34th Precinct allegedly used force against [redacted] (Allegations A and B: Force, [redacted]).
On October 22, 2017, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Sergeant Joan Ferreira and Lieutenant Merani Rotte of the 34th Precinct entered the areas of [redacted] in Manhattan that would be accessible to the public during business hours (Allegations C and D: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Sgt. Ferreira stopped and frisked [redacted] and stopped, frisked and searched individuals (Allegations E-I: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Lt. Merani Rotte of the 34th Precinct participated in stopping, frisking and searching individuals (Allegations J-L: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Police Officer Daniel Boylan and Police Officer James Ludvick of the 34th Precinct stopped and frisked individuals (Allegations M-P: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Sgt. Ferreira and Lt. Rotte searched and seized property from areas of [redacted] in Manhattan that would be accessible to the public during business hours (Allegations Q-T: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]).
