Summary

On May 9, 2017, at approximately 11:25 PM, [redacted] was double parked in his vehicle, in front of [redacted] in Brooklyn. [redacted] was seated in the front driver's seat. His friend [redacted] was seated in the front passenger seat, and his friend [redacted] was in the rear passenger seat. Police Officer Jason Barish and Police Officer Alvaro Contreras, both of Brooklyn South Auto Larceny, stopped [redacted] vehicle. PO Barish allegedly refused to provide his name and shield number to [redacted] (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). PO Contreras allegedly used a chokehold against [redacted] while taking [redacted] out of his vehicle (Allegation B: Force, [redacted]). PO Barish then allegedly used a chokehold against [redacted] (Allegation C: Force, [redacted]).
