On August 30, 2019 at approximately 7:30 PM, [redacted] was at the Electric Zoo music festival on Randall's Island with his friends, [redacted] (who also goes by the name of [redacted]), [redacted] and [redacted] was trading bracelets and beads with his friends when Detective Paul Dawkins of Brooklyn North Narcotics approached him and handcuffed him. [redacted] approached Detective Dawkins and Detective Dawkins allegedly pushed her (Allegation A: Force – Physical force, [redacted]). As [redacted] was being escorted to a prisoner transport van, [redacted] asked the officers where they were taking [redacted] and Detective Dawkins allegedly responded, "Shut the fuck up, unless you want to come with your friend" (Allegation B: Discourtesy – Word, [redacted]).
